Today’s Verse
“As the Father has sent me, I am sending you.” — John 20:21

Today’s Inspiration
Your faith was never meant to stay inside four walls. You are someone’s answer to prayer this weekend.

Today’s Message
The week is ending. The weekend is beginning. And for most of us, the next two days will be filled with ordinary things errands, meals, family, rest, maybe a few hours of doing not much at all.
But here is what Jesus says to you as you walk out the door today: I am sending you.
The same words the Father spoke over Jesus before He came to earth He now speaks over you as you head into your Friday evening, your Saturday grocery run, your Sunday morning, your neighborhood, your family gathering, your ordinary weekend life.
You are not just a person who was saved. You are a person who was sent. Sent into your specific neighborhood, your specific family, your specific circle of friends and coworkers and strangers as someone who carries the presence of God wherever you go.
That means this weekend is not just downtime. It is an opportunity. The person in line behind you at the store. The neighbor you’ve been meaning to check on. The friend who hasn’t been themselves lately. The family member who needs someone to actually sit with them and listen.
You have been sent to them. Not in a pressured, exhausting way but in the most natural, beautiful way. Simply by being present, by being kind, by carrying the peace and love of God into rooms that need it.
Go into this weekend knowing you are on mission. Not a big, dramatic mission. Just the quiet, faithful, deeply important mission of being someone in whom God lives and letting that overflow into the people around you.
You are sent. Go well.

Today’s Prayer
Lord, thank You for this week. As I head into the weekend, remind me that I am not just going to rest I am going on mission.
Open my eyes to the people You have placed in my path. Give me words that encourage, presence that comforts, and love that reflects Yours. Use me in ordinary moments this weekend to do extraordinary things in someone’s life. I am sent. Here I am. In Jesus’ name, amen.
